The Khayyami brothers signed a deal with Rootes Company in England to produce Peykan in 1966, and Iran National Company was launched a year later on May 13th, 1967.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this issue of angah magazine, &#8220;Peykan, 50 years of friendship,&#8221; and in the article &#8220;Fathers of Peykan,&#8221; you may read: \u201cBoth Ahmad and Mahmoud Khayyami began their careers as workers and laborers as children, therefore they understand the pain and suffering of employees more than any other employer. That is why, after achieving relative economic stability, their first action and priority was to improve the personnel&#8217;s standard of living.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"400\" height=\"400\" src=\"http:\/\/en.angahmag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Pekan-no3-angah.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-3000\" srcset=\"http:\/\/en.angahmag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Pekan-no3-angah.png 400w, http:\/\/en.angahmag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Pekan-no3-angah-300x300.png 300w, http:\/\/en.angahmag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Pekan-no3-angah-150x150.png 150w, http:\/\/en.angahmag.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/Pekan-no3-angah-125x125.png 125w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Mahmoud Khayyami created the industrial and mining bank, the Kourosh (now Qods) chain of stores, and Iran&#8217;s first furniture manufacturer before the revolution (Mobliran).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;In his article, Fateh Sahba mentions the Khayyami brothers as humble benefactors, writing: \u201cBoth boys were quite religious as a result of their father&#8217;s teachings.
